We are pleased towelcome the group exhibition In Case We Don’t Die with artists living in London, Berlin and Copenhagen.

The 11 artists’ works represents a contemporary sci-fi story about how the art of the future could be. The works all have very different expressions and include painting, sculpture, drawing, installation, animation and sound, which interact with eachother in the gallery space.

The exhibtion revolve around the theme the creative proces and raises hypothetical questions like How would the conditions for art be after a global catastrophe? Where would art find it’s inspiration? What part does fantasy and creativity play in a potential post-catastrophic society?

In the exhibition museum objects from the future are imagined and brought back to our time, which create meanings, that we might not be able to understand yet. Several works deal with utopias, rituals and natural phenomena, which have supernatural undertones.

For example Jakob Kirkegaard’s sound recordings and illustrations of nature phenomenos, John Strutton’s pantings on drumskins and Stephen Dunne’s ritual drawings.

The exhibition has previously been shown with other works at Chauseestrasse in Berlin and in Vegas Gallery, London. This is the third and final version of In Case We Don’tDie.
