Tommy Støckel

Born 1972, Copenhagen, Denmark

 Lives and works in Berlin

The work of Danish artist Tommy Støckel primarily consists of sculpture and installation. Minimalistic aesthetics and complexly calculated design is combined with transitory materials and manual execution. This gives a sense of warmth and playfulness to the meticulous technique and at once modernist and futuristic appearances of the pieces. The fascination with science fiction is reflected in Tommy Støckels work both visually and in theoretical reflections on time and space.
